The last week has been both relaxing and busy. I had a week break from my normal activity managing a campsite on the Murray and stayed at Aldinga Beach.
Over this time however, I updated the Museum’s website - adding photographs of our final Heritage on Sunday and details of our first activity for 2016. We have also adjusted the prices of our morning teas and lunches associated with group tours.
I published a new newsletter: http://www.ttgmuseum.on.net/Heritage%20For%20All%20Ages-v6i4-Nov%202015-web.pdf#zoom=80 Printed copies are in the post and available from the Museum and at the City of Tea Tree Gully Library.
This is published in time to promote our final event for the year, starting this Sunday: Colours of Christmas – Sunday 6 to Sunday 13, daily 10 am to 2 pm. This is also people’s last chance to purchase Christmas craft from the Gift Shop. (There are no Heritage on Sunday events in Dec or Jan.)
Yesterday we had a very pleasant get-together BBQ to end the year and again thank volunteers for their efforts in supporting the Museum. Thanks again to Jamie for hosting this at his historic home and to his nephew James for cooking the BBQ.
