The South Australian History Fund (SAHF) funds small history projects, publications and research projects that preserve, present and make accessible aspects of South Australia’s rich and diverse history. Total funding available is $35,000.
The SAHF supports around 20 projects each year, including small collection rehousing, digitisation, interpretive signage and conservation projects, booklets and major publications, and influential research projects. A wide range of groups and individuals have received SAHF funding over the years.
The grant fund is open to any community group undertaking an historical project. Individuals can also apply for publication and research grants.
For more information and to apply see the grants page on this website. Potential applicants are welcome to contact History SA staff to discuss projects and get advice with putting in an application.
