Times of Conflict: a new exhibition opens at Mallala Museum
Mallala Museum has opened its latest exhibition, Times of Conflict, which focuses on the involvement of the people of the Mallala district in the wars that spanned the 20th century and continue into the 21st century. The exhibition has been professionally designed and produced and tells stories that are personal and local, but set within a national and global context. Managing In Situ Collections at Scholz Park Museum
Museums came together to undertake a workshop at Scholz park Museum, Riverton. Under the guidance of Artlab conservators, willing volunteers spent two days cleaning and discussing issues with managing blacksmithing and wheelwright collections. National Standards - Making the Transition to the New Guidelines
The National Standards for Australian Museums and galleries are soon to be published and the MAGP will be being brought in line with them. A reference group of MAGP museums has had some input into the implementation of the new standards in South Australia.
