National Train and Father's Day

Free entry for all Dads when accompanied by a paying Adult. Take your Dad out to the National Train Day. Everyone gets free train rides behind Bub, the museum's little blue steam train. The big black steam train Peronne will also be running - just $3 for adults.

Old Treasury Tour

Explore the old Adelaide Treasury, one of Adelaide’s oldest and most significant historical sites. It was here that gold from the eastern states was stored to be smelted into the Adelaide Pound. 

The tour includes the former Cabinet Room of the South Australian Government that is in its original condition, underground tunnel areas original to the building and much more!

For almost 90 years it was home to those classified as 'criminally insane' on the overlapping edges of criminality and mental illness.
