Learn how to plan and record excellent, professional interviews! Workshops introduce participants to the practice and methods of doing an oral history interview, and provide equipment training on digital recorders.
The workshop is suitable for:
. Members of community groups and history groups
. Local and community historians
. Professional historians
. Anyone wanting to record an interview, and who would like to do it properly.
For descendants of service men and women and anyone interested in The Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902. The programme will feature speakers of interest. We encourage you to bring any family memorabilia but not weaponary, even if it has been decommissioned. For catering purposes please advise if you will be attending. The Army Museum will also be open from 12 noon. If you have not visited this outstanding museum recently we urge you to take the opportunity before before the SABWA event.
