Visit RSL-SA/NT’s inaugural Art Exhibition in its Centenary year exhibited in the Drill Hall, Torrens Parade Ground, from October 22 – 30 during Veterans Health Week. “Ripples of Reflection” is an emotional and provocative journey of discovery of oneself through the eyes of emerging and professional artists that have an ADF connection.
Guest speaker: Chris Chardon, Principal Researcher Mt Lofty Districts Historical Society. More talking than walking in Loftia Park. Followed by lunch, details to be advised.
Our Heritage on Sunday theme this month is Boys and their Toys: planes, trains, automobiles and much more! Men, hobbies, spare time, an intriguing blend – so come and discover.
Free entry for everyone to the event on both days! Steam train rides with Peronne ($3 adults), and the little blue steam train Bub (no charge). The 1950s Redhen 'rattler' railcars will be running between Port Adelaide and Adelaide station throughout the two day event. Special return fare applies - $10 per person, under 15 years no charge (accompanied by a paying Adult).
The opening of the display will be performed by Colonel Peter Scott DSO (former CO 3 RAR). Join us afterwards for morning tea on the lawns outside the OR's Canteen around the pergola for light refreshments and an opportunity to visit the other exhibits housed in the galleries of the museum. Enjoy operating our interactive displays at Watson's Pier, the trenches of Amiens and the desert sands of El Alamein!
The Unley Museum is pleased to present the Stuart Blair collection of Tintin artefacts and memorabilia. Stuart is both a fan and knowledgeable researcher and writer about Tintin and his creator Hergé.

100 exhibitors, 98 presentations, 47 speakers. Day tickets will be available, but pre-book by 30 September to go into the $3000 prize draw, have priority access to presentations & to receive newsletters leading up to the expo. Additional workshops and presentations available for a fee.
